Picture can speak thousands of words. Random pictures of insignificant moments always been the most important and most valuable.
Photographers and painters beautifully imprint huge number of events, objects and types. Some do it by accident on the momentary desire.
Others do it in order to fix the time for the future. For me they are really different and thoughtful , simple but speak lots of words………

definitely best photo collection ever
Jesus saves what? A man from parachuting safely to the ground?
Thank you! I kept looking at that and asking where is Jesus going to be when the parachute slides off of the fingers?
He might have had a parachute failure before that
and Jesus’s hand might have stopped him from falling to the ground hard
Um yeah… but it didn’t.
Hey, Keep your
religious views to yourself! lol
I can’t believe
that someone would look at these pictures and then feel the need to post a
comment clarifying a discrepancy about
the Jesus saves joke.
What is it about
the joke that compelled Tighernach and
Sofie to post clarification?
Didn’t he just base jump from the hand? If you look closely it doesn’t even look like the parachute is caught on the hand.
very nicee….
nice pics to enlighten your mood

these can make your day !!
The photo of the sergeant, his wife and their unborn child made me all out sob. That was moving. I don’t have any ties to the military, no one extremely close to me is enlisted but seeing that photo, was just. Wow.
I can’t imagine the relief, the comfort, the love in that embrace.

i think its supposed to look like a rosary
the one where the kid is drawing on the dog is animal abuse, in my opinion, even if they are washable markers. plenty of paper to draw on. why use a dog?
He’s just a kid. it’s not animal abuse, look at that dog! She loves the kid just the same as the kid loves her. It’s just fur and she’ll be fine. People dye their dogs and pay hundreds for that, this is just a silly kid act.
nope, that certainly not animal abuse.
I love dogs and would not mind a kid doing that – especially if the dog loves it.
stop being gay
More like just a funny pic where a kid was caught drawing on something he shouldn’t. Bet the dog loved the attention anyhow, my dog would have!
thats not animal abuse at all. that comment actually made me laugh
that’s not a future artist–it’s a future plastic surgeon. LOL

The one with the Veteran having to stand up on the train, made me want to tear up.The youth is so caught up in their own world to not even recognize who they have standing next to them and what they’ve gone through, even if they weren’t a Veteran show respect for any senior or elder. I’m 24 and it saddens me to be associated with this group.
Did it occur to you that he had chosen to stand? That maybe a seat had been offered and declined? That he was travelling only one stop ? That he had been sitting but the next stop was his and he’d stood in readiness at alighting?
did it occur to either of you that the text on the train door is russian and hes probably a communist? D:
And your point is? He is still an old man who risked his life for his country, no different from your veterans. And even if he weren’t a veteran hero he is still worthy of respect from the younger generation. And politics bedamned.
In September 1939, the Red Army invaded eastern Poland and occupied it in accordance with the secret protocols of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Soviet policy in all of these areas was harsh towards the people under its control, showing strong elements of ethnic cleansing. NKVD task forces followed the Red Army to remove “Soviet-hostile elements” from the conquered territories. Polish historian Tomasz Strzembosz has noted parallels between the Nazi SS and these Soviet units. And then there was Katyn… never forget Katyn !
I respect the suffering of all the peoples involved in war. I don’t believe any army is totally innocent of atrocities. Yes the Soviets were particularly savage to the Polish people, however the man in question is too young for the WW2.
or that a guy was pointing a camera in his face? 6. O.o
I noticed that and had the same thought at first. But they had no choice. Even if they were against Communism they would have been forced to fight, the same with many of Hitler’s soldier’s in WWII. So, we cannot judge, because we don’t know all about this man.
The point of the picture was to show how people are caught up in their own world. And he didn’t choose to stand. That is absoulutely horrible! No respect….
if thats the case, then what is the point of the picture? its how i seen it, everyone e is entitled to be different. your just nit picking. no need to be rude with your ” did it occur to you” bullshit
Thank you so much. As a (disabled) veteran & a 65 y/o man, I cannot begin to tell you how much this means to me. How I wish others felt as you do, if only for a moment. You’re really special. God Bless You! I wish you success in everything you do. Frank, Quincy, MA
God bless you thank you for letting us have our freedom I LOVE YOU
thank you for everything you have done for our country. my grandpa is also a veteran and my nana worked in the factorys during the war. they are my life
y0ur sooooo right that bothers me to i’m in the same age group i’m 26
I could not agree more with you.

What idiot wrote the the “Jesus saves” caption?? More like Jesus saves him from that pesky thing called a parachute… At any moment he could be blown off of the statue and likely die
Impressing, I especially loved the one with the house of the cat…
The one of the soldier hugging his wife and child made me tear up. My best friend is in the Marines now and he has a wife and 11 month old daughter, and I know it killed him when he had to leave. These are so great! Sucks that a lot of people on here had to ruin it by being jerks.
Moving!

I am the mother of two boys aged 19 and 17 who are both Royal Military College of Canada students. They have had the opportunity as young cadets, before becoming Officer Cadets, to visit battle fields, and war museums, and speak to veterans. They have ALWAYS stated that the best things that they have done were to speak with the vets. I know my children would be apalled by this seeming ignorance of the public in regard to a veteran in their presence. Although this picture seems to show disregard for the vet, could it be (hopefully) that the veteran was offered a seat and declined it? Either way, it is too apparent that the treatment of our veterans is not even close to what it should be. Otherwise, we all would have seen this pic in a more positive light.
On behalf of my sons (who appreciate all veterans and their sacrifices) and myself: Thank you. You are seen and appreciated.
The one with the man in his wheelchair pressing his head against the dog is clearly photoshopped…wack
Silly twat. Of course it’s real. Why would you think otherwise ? Check out the handi chiens website for more details and even more moving images.
The rapid shifts between pathos and hilarity make this collection of photos especially powerful. For anyone who doesn’t respect their elders, ask yourself if this is how you expect to be treated when you get old.
The old veteran is a powerful photo.
Great Post. The pic of the red bull kayak team is BONKERS!!
realy great picture …..watch worthy.

Lots to think about in some of these pics–thanks for posting!
The children’s choir comment about zeal made me laugh a bit–having taken singing lessons myself, I can appreciate that these children have been taught to sing with their mouths open wide (that is, properly!). The fact that they’re Korean has nothing to do with their stance–it’s the fact that they’re musicians!
As for the dog, no, it’s not abuse. But I hope that whoever has a child like that is wise enough to never ever buy permanent markers anyhow–I’ll be the dog isn’t the only thing he uses as a canvas…
Very nice! Gave me a positive pick me up. There are still many beautiful things and people in life.

i have been a photographer for 50 years and every day I learn from what other capture !! wow !!
I loved every one of these, but the one with the dog looking at the baby is my favorite. I think because my son’s St. Bernard just had 9 puppies and the other dogs in the house were looking at them with this same look on their face. In fact, the German Shepard still can’t figure out where these strangers came from and she doesn’t like them getting anywhere near her toys. It’s so funny. Wonderful pictures.
