This unique event was held in the U.S. Navy surveillance ship “General Vandenberg.” The ship was sunk in 2009 in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 7 miles southeast of the island of Key West, as an artificial reef and dive site. Depth at the bottom – 43 feet.
Austrian photographer Andreas Franke turned “General Vandenberg” in the gallery, which demonstrates his artistic shots. The photos were taken earlier in the same boat with the use of digital technology.
The images in the frames of stainless steel closed Plexiglas and sealed with silicone. Exposure is likely to be available to the public before the end of the year.
