In northern Madagascar a group have discovered a new kind of chameleon – leaf chameleon (brukeziya). This is the smallest chameleon in the world.Have a look at them, At the end of the post you can also see some other tiny species of nature.
1. Adult males of this species grow only 16 mm in height and 30 mm from nose to tail. (Glaw F, Kohler J, Townsend TM, Vences M)
3. A team of researchers led by Frank Glow find these crumbs at night when they slepping. They sleep on the trees at a height of 10 cm from the ground, which is quite high, considering their size.
4. The team found the tiny reptiles in the northern region of Madagascar during the expedition between 2003 and 2007. (Glaw F, Kohler J, Townsend TM, Vences M)
