The Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2011 in New York

The Annual parade started in 1924 including live animals such as camels, goats and elephants. Giant helium balloons swapped them in 1927. The parade was hovering from 1942 to 1944 because rubber and helium were needed for World War II. This is the 85th parade. Pictures by REUTERS
