Dubbed a “turbo student” by the German media, Marcel Pohl argued that those who drop out of the Essen-based School of Economics and Management (FOM) without graduating did not have to pay, neither should he. All students sign the same contract, he said. But the judge at the Arnsberg district court in North Rhine-Westphalia disagreed, and told 22-year-old Pohl on Wednesday that as he used the same facilities to complete his degree that a normal student would, he should have to pay for them.

Former Justice Department official Patrick Trueman, who proudly participated in federal p*rnography prosecutions during their “heyday” in the late 1980s and early 1990s, told The Daily Caller that Mitt Romney’s campaign assured him that Romney would “vigorously” prosecute p*rnographers if elected president.

Before coming to England, she decided to spend money on a tattoo to mark the occasion. Only later did the 54-year-old realise it featured the mis-spelling “Oylmpic”.

4. Teenage Girl Petitions Seventeen to Stop Photoshop

A change.org petition started by a 14-year-old Maine girl is attempting to persuade Seventeen magazine to limit its photoshop use—and it’s garnered nearly 15,000 signatures in less than two weeks. Eighth-grader and ballet dancer Julia Bluhm started the petition, titled “Seventeen Magazine: Give Girls Images of Real Girls” just 12 days ago, asking simply for the glossy to print one unretouched photo spread per month.

5. Man arrested for posting ad seeking r*pist for wife

A 32-year-old man from Twin Falls, Idaho, has been charged with solicitation of r*pe and burglary after posting an advertisement on Craigslist seeking a man to enter his home and r*pe his wife, according to a Twin Falls County Court affidavit. The husband admitted to having sent e-mails to Michael Combs asking that he r*pe his wife, according to the arrest warrant.

7. Driver spills 24 tons of sardines on road after forgetting to close the back door

A dopey truck driver caused caused a enormous traffic jam after he spilled 24 tons of sardines onto the road because he forget to close the back door. Motorists along the highway near Kolobrzeg, Poland, were held up for hours while workers cleared up the huge trail of fish which had been scattered for several hundred metres along both sides of the road.

 8. Kidnapping Fail: 10-Year-Old Girl Fights Off Kidnapper in Philadelphia.

The attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl in Philadelphia was caught on a security camera and now police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. In the video, a man grabs the girl from behind, covers her mouth with his hand and picks her up as her 2-year-old brother, who was walking with her, looks on. After the girl struggles and kicks against her attacker for around 30 seconds, he gives up and flees.

9. Wildlife officials investigate reports of person dressed as goat

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources officials are investigating photos that appear to show a person dressed like a mountain goat on Ben Lomond Peak, mingling with the wild animals. A herd of mountain goats are known by wildlife officials to roam along the rocky cliffs of Ben Lomond. Pictures recently posted on a photo sharing website show what appears to be someone on top of the peak dressed as a furry, white mountain goat.

 10. Boxer Busted After Bloody Nose

Bloody noses are commonplace in the sport of boxing, but for Toledo boxer Martin Tucker, a nosebleed suffered during a fight in April turned out to be more than unlucky. It was life-changing. Tucker sustained a bloody nose during a bout in Toledo, and afterward Special Agent Robert Schmitz snagged a Q-Tip swab that had been used to clean Tucker’s nose. The DNA from the Q-tip matched DNA from a mask worn during a bank robbery in 2009.
