World Press Photo Contest 2012, Every Picture Say a Story….

World Press Photo Contest 2012 is over. We offer you a selection of pictures, who took the first three places in each class. In each of the nine categories of pictures, they are divided into two parts: the history and some photos. In the category “History” the competition got several pictures of one photographer in each category, respectively,the prize awarded complete to the”history”, which includes pictures say their own stories…..

World Press Photo Contest 2012, Every Picture Say a Story.... (2)  Woman praying to the goddess of love and beauty Etsili South d’Eau at the foot of a waterfall in the heart of Haiti. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country. Every year on July 16 in the village of Villers-Bonnier people notice the appearance of the Virgin Mary, According to legend, which appeared in 1884 on a palm tree next to the waterfalls. Scientists have found that  90% of the sharks from the oceans are disappeared , all because of rising demand for shark fin soup in China. (10) Male polar bear is dangerously hanging on a cliff, trying to get the birds’ nests, over the ocean in the northern part of Novaya Zemlya. This leopard was shot from a tranquilizer.
