Ben Wilson always look for someone who threw chewing gum on the streets, so that he can turns that into a work of art.
To create his strange art, last six years he walks the streets of London and is engaged in painting on the dried gum.
I think its a tough task but appreciable because it is really a unique and different, less people can think about it, check out ben`s hard work….
And here comes the turn of Ben with his special set of colors. turning rubbish into something much more attractive and eye-catching.
First he finds chewing gum (not a very difficult task), which is obviously old and dried. Then it warms up and varnished, thus he prepare the surface for application of acrylic paint. Ben’s main objective is to perform the work so that it was durable, even while on the street, under the feet of passers-by.
This is undoubtedly a difficult task, one can take a picture of the day. Sometimes he signs the work as ” chewing gum the MAN “, but usually because of limited space, he just puts the initials BW. According to Ben, he has created about eight thousand small masterpieces.
