Using a cut open Christmas ornament, Ashlee created miniature winter wonderland dioramas. She also wrote a step-by-step guide so you can make your own gorgeous, snowy worlds.
Start by drawing a circle around your ornament about a half inch away from the metal top.
Using a drummel, cut on the line. When you’re finished, gently pull the top off.
Paint the inside of your ornament a light blue color.
After the paint dries, paint the inside with glue and apply the glitter, but make sure to leave the bottom of the ornament clean.
Using a hot glue gun, glue your miniatures to the clean floor of your ornament.
Pull apart your cotton balls for snow. Put a little bit of glue on the ornament floor, and use a toothpick to push it down.
To finish it off, add a sparkly pipe cleaner around the edges of the ornament with hot glue.
