16 Reasons why the World will End in 2012

Only god knows when the world is going to end.

[ad300] People from around the world are predicting the end of the mankind in the upcoming year 2012. Don’t know whether its true or not, but just thought of sharing it to you. Scientific experts from around the world are genuinely predicting, all life on Earth could well finish.

But different-different scientists have their own opinion. Some are saying it’ll be humans that set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. Our Eco system is not able to survive for long period. The environment is getting more populated every day. We have to accept the truth that We are failed to save our earth from big natural disaster.

I would like to share with you, what is the thought about different types of prediction? Which natural disaster will end our life on the earth? What will be the Reasons the World will End in 2012?

1. Population Growth

A recent population growth explosion has occurred over the last few centuries. If the exponential growth continues at this rate, then 2012 will take the form of anarchy on a scale we can only dream of in our worst nightmares.

2. Magnetic pole reversal

Everyone know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field. This field shields us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so – and right now we’re about 30,000 years overdue.

Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is under way, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

3. Sun Storms

It’s official: Solar minimum has arrived. Sunspots have all but vanished. Solar flares are non-existent. The sun is utterly quiet. Excerpt from NASA.

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it’s supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability.

However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.

Or could the Sun’s relative inactivity simply be part of the Maunder Minimum, whereby the Sun is merely at the ebb of its 11-year cycle? The funny thing is if this were true, it means the Earth is approaching another Ice Age. So Global Warming believers need not worry.

4. The Plague

Bird flu and swine flu gave us a fright in years past, but the real plague could be released upon the world any minute. Scientists have reconstructed the DNA microbe of the bubonic plague, aka the Black Death, in the hope of figuring out what made it so very powerful. The New York Times reports that a lab recently grew a H5N1 flu virus, “one of the most dangerous flu viruses ever known, and made it even more dangerous — by tweaking it genetically to make it more contagious.”

5. Mayan Calendar

The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a Mesoamerican civilization, noted for developing very sophisticated mathematical and astronomical systems.

The Mayan Prophecy – Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The 13-baktun cycle of the Mayan long count calendar begins on August 11 3114BC and reaches 0 (or in the long count) on, you guessed it Dec 21 2012.

6. Hadron Collider (LHC)

“The scary truth is that the LHC will become a black-hole factory with a production rate as high as about one black hole per second.”

Fear has surrounded the Large Hadron Collider, an enormous machine that examines miniscule atoms, ever since it was switched on.  The LHC otherwise known as the atom smasher or finder of the God Particle is the world’s largest particle accelerator.

It spans some 27km underground and when it ‘s fired up to run at full throttle in 2012, it will actually create mini-black holes right here on Earth in an effort to understand what happened right at the start of the Big Bang.

Maybe the discovery of the God Particle should be the least of our worries. The scientists assure us that these black holes will only live for a fraction of a second. New York Times science writer Dennis Over bye theorizes that if the Higgs boson (aka the God particle) was found it would ripple back in time and “stop the Collider before it could make [a Higgs boson], like a time traveler who goes back in time to kill his grandfather.” One kinda simple way for it to avoid being created would be to prevent the earth from being created.God Particle

 7. The Bible says…

If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn’t bad enough, religious folks are getting in on the act as-well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

Then we have the Christians, who believe in the second coming of Christ; the Rapture Ready brigade.

You never know, one of us might be the change or the Second Coming of Christ!

Yet another Biblical prophecy was the so-called “mark of the beast’” without which men could not buy or sell; proposed computer chip implants, the ultimate convenience in a cashless society seem to fit this one pretty well, and can serve, at the very least, to track people if not to control them.

8. Catastrophic events long overdue

“The Drake Equation estimates that over 10,000 communicative civilizations exist in our Milky Way alone.”

The good folk at The Future Watch have compiled an excellent list detailing possible catastrophic events which could happen at any time. Events such as nano-tech weapons, economic collapse, suicide by strangelet, alien attack – see Drake Equation, and many more factors just go to show how fragile the world really is.

9.Worldwide Market Collapse

We’ve recovered (kind of) from the crash of 2007, but there’s nothing stopping us from having another, even bigger crash. On his website, London Loves Business, market analyst Clem Chambers recently predicted that both the U.S. and U.K. markets will crash in 2012. Will this be the final crash that breaks the world’s back and throws us back into the dark ages.

10. Nuclear War

Let’s face it: America has a lot of enemies — many of whom have nuclear warheads. While the most likely man to set off some bombs, Kim Jong Il, is now deceased, that doesn’t mean someone even crazier won’t take his place as the world’s most dangerous lunatic this year. Like half the Iranian government…

11. Winter Solstice

On the winter solstice of 2012, the noonday Sun exactly conjuncts the crossing point of the Sun’s ecliptic with the galactic plane. Whilst also crossing at the exact centre of our Galaxy. The scientific community agree that at the centre of every galaxy lies a black hole. Will our Sun get swallowed up by a black hole as it crosses the centre of our Galaxy in 2012?

12. Aliens Attack

Scientists are discovering more and more evidence of life on other planets. While the current examples are closer to single-celled amoebas than blaster-wielding lizards, there is no telling when our celestial neighbors will pay us a visit. Whether they’ll bring muffins or lasers is as yet uncertain.

13. Super Volcanoes

Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple – it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

14. Asteroid

The last time the earth was hit by an asteroid it destroyed the dinosaurs. Could we meet a similar fate this year? NASA’s Near Earth Object Program shows no evidence of any large objects heading our way… yet. But Russian scientists have determined that a giant asteroid called Apophis will likely collide with the earth on April 13, 2036.

15. The Physicists

This one’s case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they’ve determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming their calculations prove, that we’re all going to die, very soon – while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

16. The Atom Smasher

Scientists in Europe have been building the world’s largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.
