Heterochromia, A different color of right and left eyes or the varying color of different parts of the iris of one eye. It is the result of excess or lack of melanin. Eye color, the color of the irises, is determined by by the concentration and distribution of melanin.
heterochromia in animals is more common than people. It usually leads to a blue color in one eye. The eyes of different colors can be found in all white cats or cats with a large percentage of white in color, especially in breeds such as the Turkish Angora and Turkish Van. Heterochromia is not so often, but also found in individuals with a black color. Eyed cats, usually is like one eye orange, yellow or green, and the other eye is blue.
