Odd lens-shaped lenticular clouds have been experiential in the skies over many parts of West Yorkshire, including over Holmfirth. The cloud structures illustrate over places like Denholme (above) were “fabulous display”. Lenticular clouds are generally seen near huge mountain ranges such as the Himalayas, Andes and Rocky Mountains. These clouds although were photographed over the heart of Leeds city centre.
